In our eleven years of testing we have preformed a wide variety of materials testing. Along with the most common ECT, Mullen, Carton Compression, Tape Pull, etc. tests, we have performed some off-the-wall testing for a variety of exotic applications (inflation to burst of heat sealed packages, “pull to engage” on a string for a personal care product, peel testing, a variety of opening force applications) that required special tooling or fixtures. Our TAPPI room and versatile tensile/compression machines allow us to test plastic products as well as paper and other packaging materials. When it comes to Carton Compression we have the ability to condition and test cartons in TAPPI conditions, which provides our customers with the most consistent test results.
